Wow, It's great it just laid an egg inside the caballitos hahaha. By now I have just two Attas left
My main videos where from AntsCanada ofcourse but I whatched some of "Hormigas en Casa", "Mundo hormigas", "Criando Hormigas" and "El Mundo de las Hormigas". There's also a forum in Spanish called http://www.lamarabunta.org/ Have you seen Ants Canda's video about leaf cutters? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA_3ul0drnQ There it shows one of the two ways people has this kind of ants. The other way apparently has the problem of the dump chambers which can eventually kill the fungus.

Re: NEW ATTA MEXICANA QUEEN HELP!
i I just discovered something...
Or well, thought of something
Unless I want this colony to be a few workers strong, how do I connect the caballitos into a larger network?
Can a fungus be relocated?
How can I hydrate the fungus?
So yes.....
Some help here?
I’ll post a photograph of a caballito set up as well, hopefully some ideas will arrive

Re: NEW ATTA MEXICANA QUEEN HELP!
Look this video, that's the first way I told you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdGjTylrCFQ
The other way was justo to fill half of the aquarium with this dirt thats really "herby" (?) like the one found in the forest that has like little branches and stuff like that.
Also I've just found a scientific paper about the foundation of Atta mexicana colonies in the laboratory: http://www.socmexent.org/revista/folia/Num%2082/133-138.pdf
Maybe we should meet to discuss this stuff because it is to much.
PD: Sadly Another of my Atta died today, so I have just one left. Let's hope it makes it. Ant Love Forever.
PD2: my mail is jlrg1992@gmail.com if you want to send anything you find. Because I don't get any notification from the forum.

Re: NEW ATTA MEXICANA QUEEN HELP!
Oh oh
Today I checked in my queen, and i found that she had deepened the garden beyond where originally was the cotton, and now there is quite a bad smell (of the leaves rotting but not by the queen’s fungi think), what do I do???
