Cotton Turned Purple In Test Tube
So I have a aphenogaster colony that has had a rough winter and I put them in a new test tube last week. Since then the cotton near the water has slowly gone purple. Is the purple bad?

Re: Cotton Turned Purple In Test Tube
its most likely mold. i have no idea if its bad or not but i suggest that you tape another test tube together with holes poked through the tape. this will allow you colony to move if the mold is bad.
