Last night I got a tube and put water and a drop or sugar water in it, I then connected it to a test tube portal (from AntsCanada) with another 2 empty test tubes. I then connect the test tube thay had the ant queen in it to the test tube portal. How long will she take till she moves to the test tube with sugar water and water?
By the way, her species is formica fusca and she has been hibernating

She will move when she wants. Could be in a minute, or a year from now! haha. I have been trying to get 2 to move since before hibernation. They dont want to come out of their tube tho. lol

if the test tube portal does not work for a couple days you can tape test tubes together and poke holes in the tape for air. this method allows the queen and brood to get humidity and water
