cotton stuck in test tube

I want to get my ants out of hibernation, but I'm stuck with a problem and don't know what to do?
The piece of cotton that you first put in if you want to make a test tube setup has sunk all to the bottom because the queen drank all the water and now I can't get it out because I actually already have put my test tube in the cement when it was wet. (Yeah, I put a test tube in cement, and then decorate the cement with little stones and big stones. The cement is there to keep the ants from digging into the ground.) And now when I tried to get it out with proper tools, the glass got a crack. I'm afraid to go on getting the tube out. And just like that I can't get it out with a pincet. Do you have any ideas?

Thx, Brentywenty

Oh, sorry for bad English, but with pincet I mean tweezers.

It's ok. You don't have to answer. I already got it out myself with a satay stick.
(Very effective!)

Use A Wet Shishkebob And Twist It Out!
