Hello everyone-
I have my ants overwintering in the refrigerator; I check them every few weeks, and today I noticed the water was very low in the test tube. How should I go about getting more water into the tube? Should I just set up a new test tube? Considering they shouldn't be bothered too much during this time, what would be the best way to refill their water for the rest of the winter?

you cant add water to a tube. even after the water is all gone, there will still be some hydration in the cotton left. this might be enough to get through the winter. if not them you would need to move them into a new tube.BuckeyeAntLover wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 3:21 pmHello everyone-

Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
