Hello guys !
I have tried several times to raise a colony with myrmica queen
Always when I put the tube with the queen in the outworld queen, a few hours left the tube and did not return to test tube
In a few days finding the dead queen
The tube was wrapped in aluminum foil and at the entrance of the tube there was cotton with a hole in it
Do you have any advice or any idea how to solve that problem?

Re: Myrmica queen
Some Myrmica are social parasites, but maybe she needs to spend a little bit of time in the tube so that she identifies it as her nesting chamber. I haven't had this problem with my Myrmica, so maybe it has something to do with the outworld?
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

The ''outworld'' is a simple plastic container
