Hi, I am keeping four Pogonomyrmex barbatus queens and i was wondering how long they take to mature. because the colonies I see in the wild have 100s - 1000s of workers.

Temnothorax colonies usually do not grow beyond a few hunderd workers.
Most ant need 4-8 weeks to get from egg to worker.
