How often should you check queens with larvae

Hi I have a camponotus queen that had some black larvae, but then the it killed it, I think because I disturbed it to much. so when you see a black larvae, when should you check in again.

I would go weekly. The workers can go a bit without food.
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

Okay, that helps, i have a tetramorium queen that has black larvae too so in a week ill check it.

Nevermind, I checked today and i have 6 Nanitics, it's my first time keeping ants. SOOOOO EXITED!
