What species of pogonomyrmex is this ?

Also i haven't been giving it food for a month or so and it seems to doing fine except it doesn't have much brood . I think the queen ant is fully claustraul but not sure .

I think the queen ant is pogonomyrmex barbatus which means it is fully claustraul but does better semi claustraul. Am I right about my queen being pogonomyrmex barbatus ?

Ah! Yes, with that massive head, this is the Florida harvester ant, Pogonomyrmex baudius. Fully-claustral, and the only North American Pogonomyrmex sp. that is polymorphic.

I don't live in Florida I live in Texas so can the Florida harvester ant be in Texas ?

Texas is the farthest west they are found. Also, I spelled it wrong: Pogonomyrmex badius.
