Camponautus Escaping
My camp colony of 8 is not doing well. They are refusing to move test tubes, I feed them plenty, but they cannibalize each other, and now they are escaping. I covered their exit, but the dug through my plug.I was going to release my colony but decided to look on here for help first.

Are they attached to a formicarium for foraging? What barrier are you using?
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet

Re: Camponautus Escaping
I got them hooked up to a homemade test tube portal. There is a a gap between the container and the test tube, so I filled it in with a glue type putty.

Do you have a picture of your setup? I don't think you should force them to move out of the test tube.

It's just a test tube setup hooked up to a plastic container
