Camponotus Castaneus Help

Hello! A little more than a week ago my c. castaneus queen had her first worker! Now she has about 4-5 workers and I don't know what to do. They started to do some cotton pulling(3 days after the first nanitic) so I gave them honey but they kept on cotton pulling. So I gave them a cricket leg (today) and they seem fine. I am eager to get them into a different setup because they are currently in an epi-pen (it has a water reservoir) so I can barely see anything. I was thinking about putting them in an AntsAustralia ytong nest size 1 with a cricket keeper for their outworld when they reach about 10 workers. Is that a good idea? Also how often should I check on them? This is my first colony so I am very nervous. Thanks :D

If you are worried that they want to forage a lot, then you should use vinyl tubing to connect an outworld. If then nest entrance is too big, what I do is tape some cotton around the tubing.
