Ant Barriers

Hi,
I have ants in my garage. It is currently 90% humidity and sometimes higher every day. I have been using baby powder which works fine. However, I am nervous when the time comes to reapply the barrier as this could make a mess. I have tried fluon but the humidity is too high. What other barriers should I use? Olive oil?
