Hi, i'm a new ant keeper. I live in colorado and I keep seeing Lasius claviger queens. I have tried introducing them to workers but it never worked out. i have tried doing this with 10 queens now and I even found a nest of Lasius claviger so i introduced it to a queen but that also did not work. I was wondering if any one is currently keeping this species and can tell me how they introduced the workers other than putting them in the fridge.

If anyone could help, that would be useful. :D

If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
