I have a camponotus queen in a test tube set up with ten workers, but just one of the workers died in the tube. I can't get it out without stressing the queen myself so how should i do this? I have a small betta tank i bought to use as an outworld for this colony once they were bigger, and i was thinking i would put two test tubes in there and let the colony take care of it themselves then reseal the colony. What do you think i should do?

The colony should not be sealed with that many workers. They need foraging space and the freedom to clean up after themselves.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
