I have a Campo. P. Queen who was doing terrible, I lifted up a piece of wood and found a GIANT colony of Campo. P., Like I said my one queen was doing TERRIBLE (2 eggs) so I gave her about 10 cocoons and 10 eggs, like I said, it was a GIANT colony so it didn't harm them. The way I did it was I just put the eggs in the test tubes and she took them.

I'm trying to boost a pogonomyrmex species and they can did around 2 meters down in the ground so I don't think I can just find the brood the way you did . The only way I think I can get their brood is break into their nest and I don't know if I want to do that yet . I would probably end up killing them if I did that . Thanks for trying to help though :D !

What kind of Pogonomyrmex queen do you have? A lot of those species are semi-claustral.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
