Has anyone successfully raised a colony of these ants? I recently caught a great deal of queens and was wondering if they needed any care before their first worker. As well as possible colony size estimates. Any other info welcome thankyou :)

I grew a colony to about 35 workers but unfortunately they died while moving into a nest for an unknown reason :( They don't need any care before the first worker besides the formal test tube set up and darkness. They are polygynous which mean that they can have multiple queens but suggest putting three max together and having some single queen tube back ups. There first workers are super small so look closely. Hope that helps! Good luck!
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?
