Help!!
There have tons of tetramorium flights in my area lately and the ones that land in my pool all gather on a little floating thing on he pool. When I looked closer groups of about 10 urns grouped together an underneath there were eggs! I scooped up me of the group and put them in a test tube together. Will they continue to raise the eggs together?

Re: Help!!
Tetramorium will occasionally raise their brood together... and then they will kill each other off.

consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Re: Help!!
Tetramorium can found with multiple queens but in the end there can only be one.

Re: Help!!
Yes definitely! I've had trash luck finding queens. I keep going on vacation and missing them 2 years and I've missed all the queens I've wanted. Going to 3...

Re: Help!!
Well, you can separate them or let them rambo it out. In the end all except the strongest one will die though (probably after they got the first or second batch of workers).
