Queen without test tube.

Queen without test tube.
I keep finding a bunch of newly mated queens and I'm going to catch one later today. If I order a test tube it will be a while so I am wondering what I can put her in. At least a temporary setup while I wait for a test tube.

I'd still catch them and care for them even though you don't have a test tube
Re: Queen without test tube.
Either a piece of tubing or a plastic box of some sort. Just add a bit of cotton and make sure it's always wet. As long as she has water she will be fine.

I guess the smallest plastic tub you have and put in a soaked cotton ball

Put her on a small piece of toilet paper, she might not be dead.

I heard you could put it in a syringe with a cotton ball instead of the push piece

If I were to manage to get a test tube how would I go with making the setup?
