Outworld Decorations

I bought an omni nest vertical recently. I want to put some sort of material in the outsold so it doesn't look ugly, but I don't know what to put for ground. I don't know if calcium sand would work or plaster of Paris or what I should use. Any suggestions? Maybe pictures too?

I think its grout... I think
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Can anyone tell me for sure what it is? And maybe put a link so I can see EXACTLY what to get. I am really trying to not mess up on this outworld.

Sand-clay mix works perfectly fine (just needs 4-6 days to dry out).

If you so want the stuff AC uses just buy it :roll:

You have sand and you have crumbled clay. You mix them and add water so the mix becomes a paste. Then you put that into the outworld and it will become hard once it starts to dry out. Note that it can become partially liquid again if you add water. This isn't necessarily bad though as it allows the ants to use the mix as a building material (I've read of Messor colonies that mixed it with plant foam and created a substance they can use to build tunnels and anthills).

You can buy this at online pet shops, it's usually used as a bottom ground material for reptile terrariums.
