I just found this piece of wood with a newly founded Colony in it. I wanted your guys suggestions on how to extract it into either a test tube or my formicarium. I thought about putting a dark test tube in the container with the wood, but I doubt this would work. Anyone got ideas?

I'd put it back. The nuptial season is just getting into the swing of things, so it's a good time to find queens.
