Easy technique for catching queens

I caught a total of 21 queens over the past few days with this technique. It was actually a random accident that I happened upon it. My back door patio mat has a lot of raised vines which creates a lot of dead end passage ways where multiple queens can hide right next to each other without ever coming into contact with one another. A few weeks ago I put another door mat over top of it and started pouring a cup of water in the passages every morning when it hadn't rained for a few days. Basically if I lifted the mat up and it was moist still I wouldn't add anymore water. If it wasn't moist then I would add some. I will be buying a couple more of these cheap door mats from Walmart this week for the backyard and front porch. Here's some pics of it.
