Will a broken leg affect a queen?

So I caught a queen today as I was leaving my church building. I was noticing that as I was carrying her home half of her back left leg was broken off, and she also was having a lot of trouble balancing and standing up when she fell down. Will this affect her ability to be "queen" or just take care of her colony in general? Thanks for your help guys, I'm pretty new to this so any help is appreciated! :D

It may. I am pretty sure that it wouldn't affect her a ton if she already was surrounded by workers, as all she has to do is lay eggs and get fed and groomed by the workers. I'm not sure about founding stage. I reared a queen that had a missing antenna, she got 20 workers before... well, I kinda sort of left them out in the sun and the all accidentally died...

Thanks for the help! I have noticed when I check on her that sometimes it seems like she is on her back, I don't know if I knocked her over or what but hopefully it will turn out all right!

Really good actually! She has a massive pile of eggs around her. When I check on her she actually is on her back most of the time though... I have high hopes for her and I think she'll do great!

Will a broken leg affect a queen?
No. I've read journals with queens who lost half their legs and are doing fine. As long as they can rear their first batch of brood (usually not an issue for fully claustral queens) the workers will do all the walking needed. If required they will even carry the queen around.
