Care for Nylanderia?
I recently caught some Nylanderia queens (and have several eggs from some of them) so I am trying to find care references for this ant, but I'm coming up blank. I am seeing that they are related to paratrechina longicornis, so perhaps I can simply treat them as such? Does anyone have experience with this genus who can help me?

Re: Care for Nylanderia?
Its a bit old, but information on nylanderia is pretty spotty at best so I wondering how your nylanderians are coming along? I was also trying to figure out whether the queen's were fully claustral or semi, so I was wondering if SA was right? Have you located a solid care sheet? I'm also wondering about temp ranges for nest and outworlds?

Hi Ptasker,
Did you mean fulva? that species is seen allot in the USA I believe.
I'm in Australia, not sure if Fulva has ever been seen here.
To be honest with you, Fulva is the easiest species to find data on, but apart from that information, other species within the genus is difficult to obtain. With that said the information given is probably a fair approach to most in the nylanderia genus.
always nice to know species specifics or at least Australian specific species etc. Thanks for reply.
