Young worker foraging?

S I have noticed lately that several pale workers have been foraging along with my dark workers. Is this normal for my tetramorium species? There are at least 150 ants in my setup.

i thought it was unusual in ant colonies for the youngest workers to be out and foraging
I can hardly say I'm an expert though so I'm probably wrong :P

I've had the same experience in a much younger colony. That's quite interesting.
