1 year old queen

I have just found a queen I caught last year survived where other had not, but she has 0 brood and 0 workers that survived. how can I help her recover from the disaster. she is a lasius, i believe niger. in the UK. she has a new fresh test tube, fed some sunburst ant nectar and tried feed a small dead fly.
