Aphaenogaster care and news

Hello everyone, my aphaenogatser colony now has 7 workers.

I’ve been feeding them a protein ant food and honey.
I have realised that the test tube they are in is very dirty, and the entrance is piled up with insects and honey that they have eaten. The test tube is somehow still full of water, so are there any ideas to move them? (They are not scared of light.)

Are they connected to an outworld? I prefer the AC test tube portal. You can plug in another test tube, and they will move by themselves into the new test tube. If you cannot connect them to an outworld or any other reasons, put tape on the test tube and connect it with a new test tube. They will also move in by themselves.

I live in Australia, but there are available esthetic ants test tube portals.
Another method imma considering, as you have probably seen in my journal, is to move them into an arcrylic nest or ytong nest. I can immediately move them into the arcrylic one, but he ytong one at least needs 50 workers. The test tube water is suprisingly still full, so I can wait a bit more.
