Can a fertile queen lay eggs that do not develop?

Because I flooded a definitely fertile Pheidole queen and a few worker’s test tube, and luckily 3 workers and the queen survived, and then when i moved into a new tube she laid around 11 eggs, but its been over a week and they are still eggs.

Try giving it longer, she might have gotten stressed out.
Why don’t more people like ants?
Is anyone from Wyoming who wants to sell ants?

Maybe they keep eating them due to stress. I'd say keep feeding them and wait, hope everything will be good.

Interestingly enough, one of my carpenter ant queens actually killed her eggs because she placed them next to the cotton stopper (not the water stopper) in the test tube and the eggs dried out.
