Hey so I fought a queen during nuptial flights and from what I’m seeing she seems to be a red carpenter ant. Is there a way I specifically should be taking care of them compared to a basic carpenter ant colony?
She just had her first nanitic and I’m pretty sure it’s a red carpenter ant I’ll post a pic.
But yeah anything I should know about that type of camponautus?

I'm not sure what you mean by red carpenter ant, but the care should be the same.Favoritefoxx wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2023 6:18 pmHey so I fought a queen during nuptial flights and from what I’m seeing she seems to be a red carpenter ant. Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
