What should I do with my dead queen ant?
In the same setup where two queen ants are residing. They have put up a silk barrier in front of them. But then one of them died and the other one still lives. What should I do? Should I remove the dead body immediately? I am afraid of disturbing the eggs and the remaining queen, and I am also afraid of the dead body spreading disease to the ants. Once the nanitics hatch will they eat up the dead body? Please help me.

What species are they? I would say leave it for now, if it starts to mold maybe try to remove it.ANTObssesion84 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 4:21 amIn the same setup where two queen ants are residing. Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
