Camponotus Queen

I caught a Camponotus Sp. queen a week ago (probably Camponotus Pennsylvanicus). She still has her wings and I noticed that she can barely move around in the test tube. Should I buy a larger test tube? Will she be fine as is? Should I get the camponotus hybrid nest and just put her in there even though she doesn't even have any brood yet? Here are some pictures of her:

My queen is in the same test tube founding chamber, Camponotus CA02.

She should be fine.

It doesn't have to be a test tube. From my understanding, test tubes are mainly used because they're premade, cheap, easy to find, easy to setup, fulfill and serve their required function for our hobby when setup correctly. The queen actually likes the rather tight space, it mimics the founding chamber they normally seek out in nature: Small but feels secure, holds humidity, is hopefully in a quiet and dark location. The cotton with water also gives her hydration when she needs a drink.

However, if you feel strongly about it and want to give her some wiggle room, as long as you fulfill the requirement above, you can move her to something a tad bit more roomy but as long as you still keep it on the smaller side. She just wants to feel secluded and secure in a small area. Just make sure it's roomy enough to have a bit of a gradient. Like in test tubes, it's best to have the cotton further apart and heat cable to one side (away from the water) so she can choose to move left or right to lay and keep her eggs in order to regulate the humidity and temperature to the preferred, available conditions.
