Last July I caught a Lasius Niger Queen on the street. She already had her wings off which is a good sign but.... almost a year later and 3 setups later still no eggs. My thinking is that she can't be infertile because she would have died already, but if she is fertile them still why no eggs? Does anyone have an explanation?
Thanks

I've heard lasius niger usually start laying after hibernation. You should feed her some honey and then leave her for two weeks without checking on her
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
