Multiple Atta queens

I have never encouraged keeping queens in a polygynous setup as it can be harmful to the queens.

However, almost every ant youtuber I've seen has their Atta colony with multiple queens. Would this increase their survival because there would be more fungus pellets or would this decrease survival because they would fight?

Ant wiki says most Atta (Texana Mexciana etc) aren't polygyne species, I havent seen any youtubers found with multiple queens either so just play it safe I guess?

Thanks for the response. I will likely play it safe and keep them separate but they definitely are polygynous as I've seen several setups with multiple queens.
