pheidole bicarinata worker wait time?
How long does it take for a pheidole bicarinata queen to get workers? She is fully claustural right? I believe her gaster has started to swell with eggs. Then how long till majors with HUGE heads? Thanks!

Usually it just mean they're filled with eggs though.Durant wrote:Ummmm if her gaster is getting too big that could mean parasites...
Sorry I'm the negative one...

I hear that it's usually 2 month at the MOST. Probably because majors take longer to develop, but it could be maybe a month, or a month and a half or something.

Thanks every one! AnthonyP163 you mean two mouths till workers right? Not majors? I would expect majors to arrive once the colony gets into the hundreds.AnthonyP163 wrote:I hear that it's usually 2 month at the MOST.
