How to care for colonys in test tubes?
I would imagine that it would be pretty hard to feed a colony living in a test tube set up with out having escapes. Especially my 15 queen Brachymyrmex depilis colony. I was wondering when you can put the test tube in an out world and have them forage that way? Any advise is greatly appreciated!

If you're just going to have a test tube they will live in the outworld. If you just have a small formicarium you can start them there. If you have a big formicarium I would start them with just a couple or three chambers open and fill the rest with sand( If they are Subterranean/digging kind of ants).

Another option I like to use is the Test Tube Portal. It provides a mini-outworld and makes feeding much easier.
