So my queen has been in a test tube for around 2-3 weeks now. She is Lasius Neoniger has like 6 or 7 eggs but what is confusing is the tube. It has a very small mold spot that’s black but in the water it’s kinda got these orange flakes any idea what it is?

It may be pieces of cotton or debris that fell off the wet cotton and into the water.
