Hey guys! I have a Pogonomyrmex Hybrid Nest for my messor barbarus but my colony has 40 members atm, should I move them to the Hybrid Nest or should I wait until they grow in numbers? Thanks!

40 is sufficient for the move. I would "offer" them the Hybrid nest and allow them to move in at their own convenience. Make the Hybrid more attractive by keeping hydrated and covered (in the dark).

Thank you very much!! I'll do that.

Note that it may take them several days, even weeks, before they will move in. Just be patient ;)

They actually did it in 4 hours haha The queen was the last one to move but the ants were forcing her to move to the hybrid nest. They started to explore the outworld immediately and they seem very happy now. Thank you very much for your advice.
