The Formica nest is a good all-purpose nest. It works well for many species.

I read somewhere that the dorymyrmex insanus species thrives in dry and hot environments do you think a camponotus or pogonomyrmex nest would be okay for such a small species?

The Pogo nest is a drier nest compared to the Campo Nest. It would probably be better.
