Re: Silicone question
Most kinds of silicone are very inert and safe once they've cured (the more pure, the better). For extra measure, you can go for aquarium sealant or platinum-cure
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
Re: Silicone question
Best bet is food approved grade silicon. The ones for aquariums would be my second choice beings they are made for just that. Big thing is to let any silicon used be allowed to set (cure) for the amount of time the manufacture suggest maybe even a little longer to allow it to fully gas (get rid of the curing agent used to make it cure).Baltimore410Keeper wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2017 1:14 pmWhat's a good silicone to use? ....
