When you get alates

Alright so when you get them and you don't want to release your colony but release the alates, what should you do?

Hmm what is your outworld like? can you remove the lid? What i thought about was when it is nuptial flight season where you live, put your outworld outside and open the lid of your outworld. Do you have a slippery barrier around your outworld so your worker ants don't escape? I would try and let it happen more naturally and just let them fly out.
