If you live in a suburban area, Just keep on walking slowly on the whitest of sidewalks you have (because you spot them muuuuch easier on white backgrounds) and you will soon find one. I live in the middle of nowhere in sweden in the forest, and beleave me, I have no sidewalks at all, hardly a road..... And I have managed to catch 5 Queens! (not black crazy ants tho XD) And out here, its reeeeally hard to spot them, scinse there is no "white /bright" surface around, only moss and dirt... Dot loose hope, and if there is a rainstorm, try going out 1h after it because they usually have theis nuptial flight after a rainy day, and wait those 30 min after so they have time to get fertilized.
GOOD LUCK!

Black crazy ants have nuptial flight
They fly around June July
Finding queens is very easy
1) queens will fly mainly after a rain
2) always keep your balcony lights on queens fly right in to your home
3) queens get attracted to light
