Hello, this is my second ant colony (lasius niger being my first) and I was just wondering how long it would take from when my eggs are laid to when my "first" workers finally hatch.
I do understand that it takes time and I will remain patient but just inquisitive.

From what I'm able to gather, it takes about 4 to 5 weeks for the ant to eclose.
