hi everyone im thinking of starting antkeeping this year and was wondering what i should have to start up and be semi successful at least. habitats, what i should get for food etc. i can find all this stuff easily online. that main thing that i cant seem to find is ants in my area. i live in Canada in the Atlantic region (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, etc) and i don't know what kind of ants live here or when i should be looking for queens. all help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
