Does anybody know how to tell the difference between RIFA and Xyloni
Solenopsis invicta and Solenopsis xyloni are both species I think I have in my area. Invicta is Invasive, but Xyloni is native. Both red fire ants similar in size and behavior. How do I tell the difference between the queens of the two species?

No seriously,Leave a Large peice of wood to rot for about a year or so,Then crack it.
Yeah you'll probably kill or stress the termite but there's the chance you can get her Unharmed.They don't need brood just the king,queen,and a couple workers.

I dont really Keep Ants much more,But One of My Hobbies Being Gardening,I Would say The Following would be Nutritious and Easy to get in for A Measly ant.

Give them Honey and Clean water.Then leave them alone for awhile.They should rebuild.
