Ok I just wanted to ask everyone what their weirdest, funniest, and most favorite queen captures were. Mine was pretty funny, my brother and I were walking from the store when I noticed something on the back of his white t shirt it was a queen phiedole I told him to keep still and to let me catch it...

I have a total of 7 queens 2 are camponotus pennsylvannicus 1is a type of Formica I think 3 I believe are phiedole and 1 lasius queen all of which are still in the founding stage
How bout you? How many have you got and how long have you been keeping?

That's so cool! But ants also tend to place their garbage onto sticky things so you could try to place a glob of petroleum jelly in the area you want their garbage to be but the idea above sounds more fun
