Discord School Community!
So, I have a real big liking for teaching people. So, I made a Discord for it. This is not a role-play game themed Discord. This is purely about learning. We have multiple topics to learn, but I have just finished my lesson on ants. It is under the channel #science-chat. So if you want to join and l...

Meaning viewed from the side. https://imgur.com/a/jdzxl Best ones I can get with my camera. Though I can tell you that with my eyes I didn't see any visible hairs like you can with some ants. Pretty sure it's Crematogaster lineolata . I've seen them in the yard, they're 100% Crematogaster, pitch bl...

Don't know if I can get that, but I'll try. And by what angle do you mean profile?Batspiderfish wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 3:20 pmNeeds to be detailed enough to see the hairs on her thorax. A profile view is ideal.

Re: About GAN (Partially wrong forum but I am needing help)
Horrible news now. The colony was sold and I'm currently waiting for a response for another camponotus colony, and if not that, someone has 4 tetramoriums. My Nylanderia colony also died today and I don't see the queen. Just scattered brood and dead workers  Sorry to hear about your Nylanderia...

Going nuts on Crematogaster!
Thought I was real late for them, but freaked out when I found a nice healthy queen in my building's backyard yesterday. I know it's definitely Crematogaster, but don't remember the species it could be. It was found in NYC 9/14/17, in the afternoon (Around 2:30-3:00 P.M.). Here's the video I made on...

Re: Adding wild workers to my argentine colony
Try with 1 or 2, then add more from the same area if they don't fight. Is there a queen? Yes hey have a queen but today I coincidentally fought a argentine queen walking along an ant trail and I noticed that she and a couple workers I caught were larger than the ones in my colony so I think the fir...

Re: About GAN (Partially wrong forum but I am needing help)
Looks like they are pretty backed up on GAN emails. I suggested they add another person in to better handle the load. I believe that will take place now and that response times will improve. Thanks for letting us know!! I got a response, thanks :D Oh good! Horrible news now. The colony was sold and...
