Re: The AntsCanada Global Ant Nursery Project™
As you know, I completely agreed with you from the start! This makes me so happy, that Mikey especially, has been notified about this problem and has begun to resolve the situation. I was beginning to think it was a lost cause but Mikey, you truly do care about all your work and I know I for one tak...

Re: Hikari's C. Pennsylvanicus journal
So it seems you've been rather busy since I've last posted on your Journal LOL. But so have I. I need to update my signature when I'm through typing this out but I hope your Formica make it. My first Formica pallidefulva queen I caught got her first 4 nanitics little over a week ago. I have also man...

Re: Homemade test tube and formicarium setups
I have a thread on a homemade test tube portal I make that's very cheap and effective. I'll see if I can post the link here for you... I will have to repost it because of Photobucket. They changed their membership stuff and my pictures aren't showing anymore but I will fix it and post it again for y...

Re: Camponotus Nearcticus setup?
I have a Tetramorium hybrid and I have Camponotus nearcticus around my house, I think it should work fine for them once you have enough workers that is. I love C. nearcticus...wish my queen had been fertile. Maybe next year.

Re: West Tennessee Gan farmer
Okay cuz I have many queens with new workers and I'm curious if I apply to be a GAN farmer if anyone would actually be interested in my area? If not then I shall hold off on the GAN project... I have many different species which are not included in my signature which I am going to fix sometime today...

Camponotus pennsylvanicus...
So yesterday around 11 a.m. I took my dog out to use the restroom and thought I seen a wasp on my porch. A rather big black one. As I got closer to inspect it I noticed it was a Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen. Now I know in my state of Tennessee these girls flew in early to late April but mostly ar...

Re: AntsCanada ANT FLAG CONTEST (2 yr Anniversary of ACAF)
Wow, I can't imagine losing a colony due to wild invaders, especially one of such beauty and difficulty raising. Let's have a grand moment of silence for the Jawbreakers  .........*sniffle*---*wipes tears away* we will avenge you!!! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's entries. I too wil...
