I disagree there. Ants will often act this way when stressed, not necessarily because of a lack of their queen.

No, they are Chinese.

Releasing your queens is basically a death sentence. If they have already found a place to nest, laid eggs, and have larvae, the chances of their survival are slim.

There are some, but not many, plants that rely on ants to disperse seeds. In the eastern US, one of the more common ones is a wildflower called bloodroot.

These are Aphaenogaster, by the way.
