I cant come up with a reason it would not be ok, as long as it was setup right for them. Ive seen plenty of formicariums made from kritter keepers and such.

My favorite place to look (also the place i catch 95% of my queens, ) is along the cement curb that follows the edge of most parking lots and roads. I find it is easier to see queens because they are usually dark colored, and the cement is a light color. This way there is contrast, and the eye catch...
