So I don't know what would have hapenned in that situation. I did the sa...

Re: Hibernation

Its good to put them into hibernation when you stop seeing your local ants out and about. Just a general rule...and take them out when you start seeing ants again.

Mini Fridge Hibernation...

Ok, so I am seeing a lot of posts about hibernation lol and here is another. So I don't have a basement, nor a garage or attic...so I have purchased me a decent size mini fridge. Re: Hibernation

My Camponotus and Formica both have done what you have described. I am in the process of getting my colonies into hibernation but it seems my Tetramorium and Crematogasater are still doing their thing....but to you question, id say yes, it is that time and certainly sounds like they know it too lol....

Order #88654

I am just curious to know if my order has shipped yet or not? I haven't received an email other than confirmation of payment and it's been almost a week. Normally I know something by now is the only reason I am asking. Thanks in advance

Re: Camponotus castaneus from louisiana

Camponotus pennsylvanicus are super easy to find and right now, you could actually find one with nanitics already. Look in semi rotten logs, especially close to where a limb has been broke off or a knot in the log. I found so many this year and still have 2 myself. One of which had her first Major e...
