I completely agree with aqdashassaan, your knowledge in this hobby is impressive and I too would like to learn how you identify ants with such accuracy. it would help hone my skills as an ant keeper

If you decide to merge watch them closely especially when they have their workers if they fight have another test tube setup ready for the losing queen so she won't die dump them out

Trap jaw ants are picky eaters don't offer whole insects but only small bits and pieces I've also heard that they readily accept meal worms
